Whose voice is that, really?

A lot of what you think you should do is just someone else's fear wearing your name.

You picked up a voice from parents, teachers, culture, the algorithm.

Keep the shoulds that survive a second look. Drop the rest. What's left is where your real life goes.

Half the rules I was living by, I'd never once actually agreed to.

Put a 'should' on trial.

Pick one and ask honestly: is this mine, or did I just inherit it? Then keep it or kill it.
